What do we do?

We specialise in identifying the key health and safety risks to your business and in particular where you may be susceptible to employers liability insurance (ELI) claims. We have service solutions to help you manage your risks and potentially reduce your EL premiums.

Risk Management Review

A consultant will spend one day with you reviewing your health and safety management systems and inspecting your workplace. We will discuss your issues and identify your main exposures to risk. We will assist you in setting out a realistic and achievable plan that will help minimise costs and losses.

Risk Assessment Service

A consultant will visit your premises and conduct a general risk assessment. All you need to do is appoint a member of staff who you feel would be able to conduct the assessments in the future and they will be given hands on training as part of the exercise. The consultant and your representative will undertake general risk assessments of your premises and activities.

The consultant will then produce a risk assessment manual. This will be provided in hard copy and on CD as a word document to enable your representative to review and update the assessments as necessary in the future.

Once the manual has been produced, the consultant will revisit your premises and brief your management team on the findings of the assessment and the corrective actions necessary. Prices for this exercise vary depending on the size of the organisation and the length of time anticipated for completing the exercise.

Risk Management Training

Managing workplace risks is the responsibility of your directors, managers and supervisors. To do this effectively they will need to understand what they are expected to do and have the necessary tools to enable them to do it. We can provide a variety of training courses aimed at giving them a detailed understanding of practical risk management techniques.

We can also provide training in a number of areas for your employees. Training in manual handling, noise awareness, handling chemicals, use of personal protective equipment etc.

Competent Advice Service

For companies that do not have access to competent advice, we offer a service that is cost effective and that helps companies to achieve legal compliance.

In conjunction with the Risk Management Review Service, we will identify the key hazards in your workplace and the necessary documentation you should have to manage the risks from these hazards. We will develop a safety plan for you to follow to make improvements to your safety performance.
