Risk Assessment Service

General Risk Assessment

A consultant will visit your premises and conduct general risk assessments of your workplace.  Our aim is that you will, after the visit, be able to continue to review and update your risk assessments.  In order to achieve this, we will undertake the process with one of your employees.  This will give them hands on training and help them understand how the risk assessment process works.

Once the assessments have been completed, the consultant will produce a risk assessment manual for you. The manual will come as a hard paper copy and also an electronic version on CD so that you can review and update it as necessary.

Machinery Risk Assessments

In order for your employees to operate machinery or equipment safely, they should undergo formal training in the safe operation of those machines or equipment.  The best way of providing this training is to use written work instructions.  These work instructions should be assessed to ensure that they are the safest way of carrying out the task.

A consultant will visit your premises and conduct risk assessments on the operation of your machinery or equipment.  They will help you produce Safe Operating Procedures (SOP’s) that can be used to train your employees.  These risk assessments and SOP’s will be incorporated into a risk assessment and SOP manual.  This will come as a hard paper copy and also an electronic version for you to review and update.

COSHH Assessments

If you have hazardous substances on your premises, you must carry out COSHH assessments.  GRM can help you do this by undertaking a formal COSHH assessment exercise with you.  As with the other risk assessments you will receive a manual in paper and electronic formats.

Manual Handling Assessments

GRM can help you with your manual handling activities by undertaking formal Manual Handling assessments with you.  As with the other risk assessments you will receive an assessment manual in paper and electronic formats.
