Practical Safety TechniquesThis is a two-day course designed to give your managers and supervisors the tools and knowledge they need to effectively manage health and safety on a daily basis. The course is based on the HSE’s Guide to Successful Health and Safety Management (HSG 65) and covers the key elements to developing and running an effective management system. The course is broken down into four key modules: - Policy and Organisation (Roles and Responsibilities)
- Planning and setting standards (Risk Assessment)
- Monitoring (Safety Inspections and Accident Investigations)

As the course title suggests, the course is practical based and involves exercises for delegates to learn the necessary techniques. Health and Safety AuditingMonitoring your workplace to ensure that safety standards are maintained will help reduce accidents and demonstrate a proactive approach to health and safety which is crucial for defending compensation claims and prosecutions. This one-day course will help your Managers and Supervisors understand the need for safety inspections and audits and give them the necessary tools to carry out these inspections and audits effectively.
